Israel’s Rejection and Wandering
After Israel’s rejection and then defeat, they were to spend the next 40 years outside Canaan. God said that he would do to them as they had said. (Numbers 14:28–30, ESV) So, every person over 20, except Joshua and Caleb, would never see the good land.

Israel Continues in Rebellious Behavior
